Matthias Matzke
The innovator
In the following two decades, 36 national and international awards followed, including two first prizes at the Accordion World Championships (Coupe Mondiale).
Celebrated by the press as the “David Garret of the accordion”, I have performed on stages all over the world. After three music degrees, 15 years as a teacher and lecturer in Europe, the USA and Asia and over 100 compositions and arrangements for accordion, the most significant milestone came with the Matzke Method® and Accordio.
Marius Staible
Composer & soloist in the duo “con:trust”
Marius Staible received accordion lessons from Stephan Bahr from 2001 to 2016 and has won over 50 awards at national level during this time. Since 2016, he has been studying with Claudia Buder at the FRANZ LISZT University of Music in Weimar. In 2021, he won first prize at the international accordion competition in Vilnius.
Staible’s award-winning composition Unplugged3 is established as a compulsory piece for competitions throughout Europe. Marius Staible works closely with composers of new music and has already initiated numerous world premieres throughout Germany and also in New York in 2022.

Daniel Roth
Theory expert & soloist in the duo “con:trust”
Daniel Roth studied accordion and music theory with Ivan Koval, Claudia Buder and Veli Kujala in Weimar and Helsinki. The young musician has composed and arranged pieces for numerous bands, students and performers on the accordion.
Roth gives lectures and seminars on music theory and jazz and is in close contact with the classical and entertainment music scene in Germany, Finland, Russia, France and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2023, Roth was awarded first prize in the Senior Variety category of the international accordion competition “accordions-nous.org” in Belgium.

Lukas Proske
The jazz specialist
Lukas Proske came into contact with both the accordion and the jazz piano as a child.
After training at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen (2018-2021) in the fields of classical music and jazz, he studied jazz and pop at the “Artez Conservatorium” in Arnhem. In 2021 he was awarded first place at the “Accordion Music Prize” in Germany.
In addition to working on his own compositions, he is a regular musical director and keyboardist in the Dresden Christmas Circus, one of the largest in the world.
