The new way to
Learn the accordion
Are you wondering whether it still makes sense to start learning the accordion now?
And maybe asking yourself: Isn’t that just an unrealistic dream?
At first glance, learning the accordion can seem quite complicated: buttons on the left, keys on the right that you can’t even see. Pulling and pushing the bellows—and then those mysterious notes in front of you. Yet all you really want is to make beautiful music without first having to study theory, technique, and sheet music. Does that sound familiar? Then the course “Finally Play Accordion!” is exactly right for you.
Already in the first lesson, you’ll feel the knot begin to untangle. One aha moment follows the next, and you realize:
This is doable. This is fun. This is your instrument.
In easy-to-follow lessons, you’ll experience the joy of making music from the very beginning: Easy to understand. Easy to apply. Proven by thousands.
Even with no prior experience, you’ll play these 4 pieces within 4 weeks:
Irish Song
The Man in the Well
Jingle Bells
Ode to Joy

FAQ
Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for you if you want to start learning the accordion as an adult beginner. It’s also suitable if you’ve only been playing for a short time or if you want to return after many years. The course is specifically designed for adults, and it’s very manageable even if you’re 50+ or older.
What prior knowledge do I need?
Reading sheet music, music theory, rhythm, or musical talent—you don’t need any of that to learn the accordion with this online course. You’ll pick up all the essential basics along the way in a natural and playful way. You can also work through the lessons either by ear or with sheet music – guidance for both approaches is included.
How long does it take?
How quickly or slowly you go through the course is entirely up to you. If you stay consistent and practice a bit every day, you might even be able to play your first 4 pieces on the accordion within 4 weeks. With this course, that’s absolutely possible.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. The course is an online course for self-study. All you need is a PC or laptop, a tablet or smartphone, and an internet connection. You don’t need a camera, Zoom, or any special software.
The “Accordion Jump-Start” is designed to be very user-friendly. You can easily navigate through the course, and if you ever run into any problems, our support team will be there to help you.
Do I have the right accordion?
This course is suitable for any chromatic accordion—whether with buttons or piano keys, melody bass or standard bass, large or small. Only diatonic accordions, such as the Styrian harmonica, are not suitable.
Although most examples in the course are demonstrated on a piano accordion, they can almost always be transferred one-to-one to button accordions.
I don’t have an instrument yet
Would you like to book the course but are still looking for a suitable accordion? Great. We have a network of highly qualified dealers who offer beginner instruments. You can either buy or rent them, so you don’t have to take any risk.
Simply contact us at support@acccordio-courses.com and we’ll send you a recommendation for a dealer you can get in touch with.
Do I also get private lessons?
No. The course is designed as an online course for learning the accordion on your own. Private lessons are not necessary at the beginning. Unlike instruments such as the violin, trumpet, or clarinet, the accordion does not require special techniques for producing the sound.
This course truly gives you everything you need to start learning the accordion as a beginner. And of course, you won’t be left alone with your questions:
What if I need help?
Even though traditional accordion lessons are not included in the course, you can get support at any time—either via email or directly within the course area. There you can ask questions and receive feedback.
You’ll also get access to the Accordio community, where you can connect with other accordion players, exchange ideas, and support each other.
Can I download the videos?
No. The videos are only available online—with lifetime access. The accompanying PDF guides and sheet music for learning the accordion can be downloaded.
How do I get access?
After your purchase, you’ll receive an email with your login details. With these, you can sign in to the course platform and get permanent, unlimited access to the course – whenever you want, as often as you want, for as long as you like.
